Good riddance 2008. A rubbish year. But as ever, great music leaked through and still taught us to have a good time.

We're not sure this selection of tracks is as strong as recent years. The remixes are the most memorable for us this time out: Splittr, Yelle, Foals, Chromeo, Ulrich Schnauss, Hercules & Love Affair. But it's the Maxime Dangles that is our favorite track of the year. It just catches up and by three minutes in you are too far gone. It's brilliant.

Thanks for having Trance Lab as part of your life for this year. The program will soon be 13 years old, and we intend to keep turning out favorite techno every week.
