Infusion Date Added For Boston MA

The Australian trio Infusion are fitting a Nov. 17 stop in Boston, MA at Axis around upcoming dates in Australia and South America. They have been touring the world in support of their first full-length album Six Feet Above Yesterday.

To describe them as a poor-man's Underworld is a bit of a hit but the basic flavor is there. Expect no attempts to prove their "musicianship" with live band instruments; loads of knob twiddling send out epic-length progressive clubby songs touched by adequate live vocals. A group of us saw their sparsely-attended 2004 Boston show and greatly enjoyed ourselves. The trio were barely warming up during their two-hour set when the city's nightclub laws kicked in and kicked us out at 2am.

Tickets are $15 from Next Ticketing. A 6p door ensures either a full set for us old fogies or being kicked out at 10pm.
